Reaching for Achievement:

As the first semester ends in two months I personally would like to finish this semester by growing as a person, becoming more resilient, and developing a positive mindset. I plan to practice mindfulness, engage in hobbies I enjoy, and maintain a positive mindset. Academically, I aim to excel in my courses by staying organized, seeking help when needed, and dedicating time to studying. I also want to actively participate in class discussions and take advantage of opportunities for hand-on learning. Overall, I hope to emerge from this semester with personal growth and academic achievements.

When it comes to mentoring I personally want to grow my communication and leadership skills. I want to become more confident in expressing my ideas and collaborating with others. Academically, I aim to expand my knowledge and expertise in my field of study. I want to deepen my understanding of complex concepts and develop critical thinking skills.

My Calendar Organization Method

To finish the semester the way I’d like to, I need to set specific goals and stay focused. I will achieve these goals by keeping a calendar with all my plans throughout each week. As for academics I have had an A + and continue to have that throughout the years. I tend to struggle due to procrastination, but I have recently started timing myself when doing homework and giving myself breaks here and there. This has helped me stay on track and get my work turned in on time.

Mentorship Experience?

It is almost towards the end of October and I have yet to find a placement in my chosen medical field I am interested in. I have been given the choice to contact Riverside Methodist Hospital, but there weren't

any available placements. Mount Carmel has a cardiologist, but the surgeon has yet to reply back to my call. So I am still in the search to find a placement. Other than Pediatrics I am also interested in oncology and cardiology so I will be happy with any medical placement I can get.
