
Columbus Oncology and Hematology
Columbus Oncology and Hematology, was founded by Dr. Andrew V. Grainier in 1987. It was started to improve the lives of people affected by cancer and blood disorders. They have found new teachings of cancer that have grown their company—research with medical education improving every year. Columbus Oncology and Hematology helped to provide services with patients that have cancer and/or blood disorders. With a company size of 51-200 people and 67 employees their career jobs are based on Oncology and Hematology. They have three locations in Ohio. Their main office is in Jasonway Ave, Columbus and the last two are in Perimeter Drive, Dublin, and Polaris Parkway, Westerville. They are organized with Associates INC and placed 27th with their field. They offer internships at all their places.
About My Mentor
Dr. Thomas Sweeney was born in Cleveland, but raised in Columbus throughout his whole life. He graduated from the Ohio a state University with B.S in Chemical Engineering and M.S in Chemistry. After graduating from the Ohio State University College of Medicine with his M.D. He completed his Residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Dr. Sweeney then completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at Stanford University. He is Board Certified in Medical Oncology. Dr. Sweeney enjoys the challenge of being in the Oncology field and the types of patients he treats. He says it’s a very complex field and that it’s evolving rapidly with new therapies coming out for cancers. Dr. Sweeney hopes to see more future Nurse Practitioners to not only help Oncology doctors but also other doctors around the world.
