Capturing Life’s Beauty: Why Photography Became My Passion

Photography has become an integral part of my life, allowing me to express myself creatively and capture the beauty that surrounds us. I want to share some reasons why I chose photography as my hobby and how it has brought immense joy and fulfillment to my life.

Mount Bonnell Austin. TX

Photography allows me to freeze fleeting moments in time, turning them into cherished memories. Whether it's a stunning landscape, a candid shot of a loved one, or the vibrant colors of a bustling city, photography has the power to preserve these special moments forever. Each photograph tells a unique story, and I love being able to capture the essence and emotions of a particular moment through my lens. I have taken my senior year to evolve my photo taking skills. I've traveled to Texas over the summer and taken some cinematic shots. During the school year my friends gave me the idea to take their senior photos. Over to the right you will see some of my photographic skills from my portfolio.

One of the reasons I fell in love with photography is the endless opportunities for creativity it provides. With a camera in hand, I can explore different perspectives, experiment with lighting, and play with composition. Photography allows me to see the world in a new light and encourages me to look for beauty in the simplest of things. It's a form of self-expression that allows me to share my unique vision with others.

Photography has also introduced me to a vibrant community of fellow enthusiasts who share the same passion. I have connected with like-minded individuals who inspire and challenge me to grow as a photographer, for example my brother-in-law. He was the reason why I was ever behind a camera taking pictures. Photography has become more than just a hobby for me; it's a way of life. Through my camera lens, I can freeze time, express my creativity, and connect with a community of passionate individuals. Photography has brought immense joy, fulfillment, and a deeper appreciation for the beauty that surrounds us. So let's all grab our camera, and embark on this incredible photography journey!

Career Update?

I still don’t have a mentor site. I did get three more contacts from a Pediatrics office in Hilliard, Madison Health Hospital in London, Ohio, and an Orthopedic Surgeon on Perimeter Loop. Since my main focus is Pediatrics I emailed the doctor hoping for him to reply back to me. I myself did find a contact in the oncology department. Dr. Thomas Sweeney is my moms oncology doctor from when she had stage II cancer. Him and I are scheduled to have a phone call on October 31st around 2pm.

Wish me luck on finally having a mentor site. The way this whole process tested my patience is insane.
